When Protons Collide

An illustration of the production and immediate decay of a tiny (and harmless) black hole, one of the potential results from the proton-proton collisions at ATLAS.

I'm slightly disapointed at being able to post tonight. I was hoping to have been sucked into a black hole and catapulted at light speed into a new universe.

Todays treat

I went off Oreos for a little while due to a few days of complete and utter over-indulgence. Instead of sticking to my normal 6 pack , I took advantage of a  BOGOF on the creamy little wonders and bought a lorry load of big packets which just vanished in a few days! I think someone took them!!! Still I'm fully recovered and had a yummy time earlier with a cold glass of cow juice to accompany.

Who do you really think you are?

I found an interesting site called Public Profiler ( http://www.publicprofiler.org/worldnames/Default.aspx) and was amazed to find myself typing in the search box, not the name that EVERYONE knows me by, not the name I call myself & the name on my passport. No, without thinking I typed in my maiden name. This got me thinking about how I see myself and it appears despite being an adult & sensible & being called something else, I'm still a scruffy tomboy roaming wild, only difference ( ? ) is I've got my kids following behind now not my dogs!
